User Experience (UX) Lead, July 2019 - January 2020
Client: Infosys C-Suite
A UX research focused, high visibility project from the CEO, Salil Parekh. User Experience research conducted to improve company UX where internal communications is concerned. Scope of User Experience includes both technical & non-technical solutions, primary focus being communications within the Americas, but project has a global scope.

Role: Product Manager & UX Lead
  • User experience research included usability interviews (with employees, contractors, etc) and inter-geographic/cross-cultural surveys, software redesign & competitor research.
  • Three surveys: former employee survey, current employee survey, software-focused survey.
  • Managing & leading an on-site team of 10+ including designers, developers, and testers.

Accomplishments
  • Designed three Social Surveys: 100's of data points, spent weeks trying to reduce various forms of bias within the surveys. Survey data was collected in Tableau and then analyzed against initial hypotheses.
  • Conducted Usability Testing: Discovered pain points for each app and platform examined, using testing methods such as A/B testing, paper prototypes, digital prototypes, as well as testing the existing apps (130 apps and two platforms).
  • Conducted Usability Interviews: in-person, with predefined scripts.

Client: Asurion
Role: SQL Server DBA
Asurion provides insurance. The project concerned phone insurance, specifically with respect to database maintenance of the records for phone insurance.

The project existed in a .Net environment so it made sense to choose SQL Server as the database technology for the project. With its comparatively easy to use GUI, it was easy to maintain the databases for the project. The project consisted of the upkeep of both hot and cold databases. There were 6 hot databases and 24 cold databases, with each database getting backed up to 4 databases for redundancy. SLA dictated an uptime of 99.9%.
